WELCOME TO MY SITE (continued)

Thanks to many of you, in 2007 The January Girl became a main selection/bestseller as a Black Expressions Exclusive. It was the first and only time Carol Mackey and her team published a book. That success took us to Hachette - Grand Central Publishing, and into the loving arms of Karen Thomas, my new editor.

I'm working on my third novel, Come Sunday, the diary of a 19 year old heroin addict. In her own words, Corinthian lived the kind of life people forget about almost as soon as it's gone. Your funeral, if they have one, is held in the chapel in that funeral home because it's cheaper and there won't be enough people to fill up a church. But Corinthian doesn't want us to forget. After she is raped and murdered, she begins to tell her story—from the "other side." I am convinced that this is my best work yet.

My blog, Second Day, is up and running. It's a daily (well, almost daily) diary and I hope you will visit it. Leave a comment, drop me a line. I look forward to hearing from you.

All the best, Goldie
