Goldie Taylor is chief creative officer of NATIVE Brand Communications, an Atlanta based advertising and public relations agency.  She has been featured in Marie Claire, Atlanta Voice, Black Enterprise and Jezebel magazines and on Good Morning America.

 



 




A former Atlanta Journal Constitution reporter, Fortune 500 external affairs executive and political consultant, she has written feature op-ed columns for the AJC, Atlanta Tribune, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Ebony Magazine and Creative Loafing. A bestselling novelist, Goldie is the author of In My Father’s House (Wheatmark Press, 2005) and The January Girl (Warner Books, 2007/ Hachette Grand Central, 2008). 


She is currently working on her third novel, Come Sunday, and her first non-fiction title, My Soul Says Yes: Mastering Courage in a Culture of Fear—a spiritual memoir. Goldie is the mother of three teenagers (and is      thus wholly convinced that God has a sense of humor).
